This tour will give you an insight into the history of the slave trade in the Gambia.

After being picked up from your hotel, you will experience the famous ferry crossing over the Gambia river. Once on the north shore you will be driven along to the villages of Juffureh and Albreda. We then take a boat to the Kunta Kinteh island where slaves were kept before being shipped to the Caribbean. After the visit to the island, we return to Albreda where you will be able to visit the very interesting slavery museum. We will then enjoy a delicious Gambian lunch and a chance to buy souvenirs before the return trip to your hotel.
